A global energy and infrastructure business is seeking a skilled Project Finance qualified to join their Sydney-based team. This role will lead project and structured financing activities Australia wide working closely with debt and equity providers to support financing, investment, and M&A; transactions and help maintain third party financing relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain complex financial models to support project development, financing, and investment decisions
- Support debt financing solutions for renewable energy and energy storage projects
- Contribute to M&A; activities, including financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence
- Support broader finance activities including budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
- Maintain strong relationships with banks, investors, and other financial stakeholders
About You
- 8+ years' experience in project finance, corporate finance, and/or M&A; / divestment
- Advanced financial modelling — PE-grade skills, with the ability to build complex models (three-statement, LBO/project finance structures, scenario and sensitivity analysis)
- Prior exposure to renewable energy, infrastructure, or utility-scale project financing highly regarded
- Experience with debt financing, bank models, or transaction due diligence
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Engineering
- Full working rights in Australia required
