Hay Multipurpose Service is looking for a hardworking and team-oriented Physiotherapist to join our team. This one day a week role would be best suited to someone ready to take the lead in managing the communities Physiotherapy needs in Hay.
You will work collaboratively as part of the multi-disciplinary team providing high-quality care to clients of the Murrumbidgee Local Health District in order to support management of their health needs and to promote wellness.
As the Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for:
- Provide high-quality, patient-centred assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, intervention and education using evidence-based practice.
- Monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes, adjusting care plans in collaboration with senior clinicians where appropriate.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes and support safe, timely discharge planning.
- Deliver care in line with professional, organisational, legal and ethical standards, including MLHD CORE values.
- Demonstrate cultural competence and commitment to improving health outcomes for Aboriginal people and culturally diverse communities.
- Work independently within scope of practice while seeking supervision and support as required.
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy with current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration
- Strong clinical knowledge and experience delivering patient-centred, evidence-based physiotherapy services across diverse clinical settings
- Highly organised with strong time management and prioritisation abilities
- Commitment to career development, continuous improvement and evidence-based practice
- Current Class C Driver Licence with willingness to travel as required for the role
