Adecco is seeking dedicated packers / machine operators for our client in Knoxfield. These roles are casual wih a weekly roster and an immediate start. Day Shift - 6am - 2pm

About Us

Our client , located in Knoxfield are in a growth phase and require casual staff to assist in fulfilling projects for their customers. This is a highly specialised role that requires strong attention to details and a willingness to learn how to operate computerised machinery while working in a high security environment.

Responsibilities

As a packer / Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining specialised machinery. Or as a packer - using your quality control skills to check and package and finalise products for distribution.

Key responsibilities:

- Operate and monitor machinery

- Troubleshoot machinery

- Manage sequential and non-sequential numbering processes.

- Conduct quality checks to ensure all outputs meet strict security and production standards.

- Maintain accurate production records and adhere to safety procedures.

Your Profile

Required Skills:

- Strong communication skills
- Previous pick-packing experience is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Own reliable transport is essential (public transport is not available nearby)
- Flexibility with working hours,



as they require day shift but may need afternoon shifts filled
- Availability for a weekly roster - with up to 3-5 shifts per week
- Students are welcome, provided they can work Monday to Friday with no restrictions on hours (student visas holders cannot be accepted)
- To start ASAP; after completing their police check and completed paperwork
- Warehouse skills advantageous with a forklift licence

They are seeking suitable people to operate the computerised machinery for production.

To be considered for these role you MUST have the following:

- Full availability - Monday - Friday
- Hold a current and valid Police Check
- Sound computer skills to enter data into computer and release jobs
- Previous experience as a machine operator, preferably in printing, packaging, or card personalisation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow strict security and operational procedures.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven workplace.
- Willingness to learn specialised systems and technologies
- Willingness to learn and work in all departments
