Are you an experienced Practice Manager — or an experienced Office Manager/ Healthcare Administrator ready to take the next step — looking for a role where you are trusted, supported and given the autonomy to lead?

A Practice Manager Role with Real Autonomy

We believe good managers should be given the opportunity to manage.

You'll have considerable autonomy over the practice's day-to-day operations, supported by an experienced wider management and clinical team when you need it.

You'll take ownership of the practice's smooth running, support your team and doctors, solve problems, improve systems, and help shape how the practice operates.

We value initiative and positive judgement. If you see a better way of doing something, we want to hear it.

The Team You'll Lead

You'll be working with a team of:

- 5 General Practitioners

- 2 Practice Nurses

- 3 Administration team members

We are large enough to offer an interesting and varied management role, but small enough that people know each other, support each other and genuinely work as a team. Our culture is family-based, respectful and supportive.

We want our staff to enjoy coming to work, feel respected for what they contribute and know that they'll be supported when they need help.

There is no room for unnecessary hierarchy or workplace politics. Doctors, nurses, administration staff, and managers all have different responsibilities, but every member of the team is key to the practice's success.

And When the Working Day Is Finished... It's Finished.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys bringing people together and making things work.

You'll ideally be:

- organised and confident managing a busy healthcare environment;

- approachable and supportive with staff;

- comfortable working with doctors, nurses and administration teams;

- able to manage competing priorities without losing sight of the bigger picture;

- confident making decisions and taking responsibility;

- interested in improving systems and finding better ways of working;

- professional, fair and respectful; and

- someone who genuinely enjoys being part of a team.

Previous general practice management experience would be highly regarded, but we are also interested in hearing from experienced Office Managers, Medical Administrators or healthcare professionals ready to step into practice management.
