About the role

The Golf Professional is responsible for delivering a high standard of golf services and an exceptional experience for Mirage Country Club members, resort guests and visitors. The role focuses on day-to-day golf operations, coaching and player development, competitions and events, and positive member and guest engagement.

Key responsibilities

- Manage and support day-to-day golf operations, including player check-in, bookings and tee-time administration.

- Maintain high standards of service, presentation and professionalism across the golf operation.

- Communicate course rules, pace-of-play expectations and relevant Club procedures to members and guests.

- Work collaboratively with the Golf Course Superintendent and Club management to support safe and efficient operations.

- Deliver professional private and group golf lessons for adults and juniors.

- Develop and deliver appropriate clinics and player development programs to increase participation.

- Support initiatives that encourage junior, women's, beginner and broader member participation in golf.

- Provide professional club fitting and equipment advice appropriate to members and guests.

- Coordinate and deliver Club competitions, tournaments, corporate golf days and other golf events as required.

- Build positive relationships with members,



resort guests and visitors and contribute to a welcoming Club environment.

About you

- Current PGA membership and appropriate accreditation, or actively working toward the required PGA qualification.

- Demonstrated experience delivering private and/or group golf instruction.

- Sound knowledge of golf operations, competitions and Pro Shop procedures.

- Experience with club fitting and equipment services; club repair experience is desirable.

- Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.

- Solid computer and point-of-sale skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Skilled presentation and a genuine passion for golf and player development.

- Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and scheduled competitions/events as required.
