Due to recently awarded contracts and a significant increase in workload, MG Plumbing & Maintenance is expanding our team again.

We are looking for experienced and reliable tradespeople to join our growing business across our commercial, maintenance and roofing divisions.

MG Plumbing & Maintenance is a proudly family-owned plumbing and carpentry company servicing Darwin and the Northern Territory. We have built a strong reputation for quality workmanship, professionalism and reliability, with long-standing relationships across commercial clients, government organisations, builders, insurers and body corporates.

With 15+ qualified tradespeople, three dedicated division managers and continued growth, we can offer consistent, year-round work across a diverse range of projects.

Positions Available

- Commercial Plumbers

- Maintenance Plumbers

- Roof Plumbers / Roofers

- FIFO Plumbers

- Full-Time Tradespeople

- Casual Tradespeople

FIFO opportunities are available, with accommodation provided at either our workshop accommodation or an off-site rental property.

Commercial Plumbers

Our commercial division has recently secured additional projects and contracts, creating opportunities for experienced commercial plumbers.

Projects include:

- Office buildings

- Mine camp accommodation refurbishments

- Shopping centres

- Schools

- Hospitals

- Warehouses

- Factories

- Hotels

- Apartment complexes

- Industrial facilities





This is a great opportunity for plumbers who enjoy large-scale projects, quality installations and working as part of an experienced commercial team.

Maintenance Plumbers

Our maintenance division continues to grow, with a busy and varied workload across residential, commercial, insurance and body corporate work.

Work includes:

- Insurance plumbing works

- Plumbing reports and assessments

- Leak detection

- Burst pipe repairs

- Bathroom renovations

- Fixture disconnects and reconnections

- Roof repairs and maintenance

- Shopping centre maintenance

- Body corporate and apartment maintenance

- Residential maintenance

- Emergency make-safe works

- Wet season roof tarping

- Ceiling removals due to water damage

- Hot water system installations – solar, heat pump and electric

- Preventative maintenance

- Plumbing fit-offs

- Hot and cold water installations

- Sewer installations and blockage clearing

No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for plumbers who enjoy variety, problem-solving and working across different types of jobs.

Roof Plumbers / Roofers

We are also seeking experienced roof plumbers and roofers to join our growing team.

Work includes:

- Complete roof replacements

- Residential, commercial and industrial roofing

- Roof repairs and maintenance

- Wet season emergency roof tarping





- Gutter and downpipe installation

- Fascia installation and replacement

With an increase in roofing and maintenance projects, there is plenty of ongoing work available for experienced tradespeople.
