Experienced Fence Installer / Leading Hand – Gold Coast

Fencing Gold Coast is looking for an experienced fence installer to join our established team.

We specialise in residential timber fencing, Colorbond fencing, gates and retaining walls across the Gold Coast and surrounding areas. We have been operating for more than 12 years and are looking for someone reliable, experienced and confident enough to take the lead on installations and supervise apprentices when required.

The role includes:

• Installing timber and Colorbond fencing
• Installing timber, concrete and composite sleeper retaining walls
• Setting out jobs and working from measurements/job notes
• Organising materials and completing installations efficiently
• Leading and working alongside apprentices
• Communicating professionally with customers
• Taking progress and completion photos through ServiceM8
• Maintaining a safe, tidy and organised worksite

We are looking for someone who:

• Has solid fencing and retaining wall installation experience
• Can confidently run a residential fencing job from start to finish
• Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their workmanship
• Is physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
• Can supervise and guide younger team members




• Has good communication and problem-solving skills
• Holds a current driver’s licence and White Card
• Has experience operating machinery such as a Kanga loader or similar — preferred but not essential

Experience with timber fencing, Colorbond fencing and sleeper retaining walls is essential.

This role would suit an experienced fence installer, leading hand or landscaper with strong fencing experience.

The position may initially be offered on a casual trial basis, with the opportunity to move into a permanent full-time role for the right person.

Pay will be negotiated based on experience, ability and employment arrangement.

Most of our work is based on the Gold Coast and we generally work Monday to Friday with early starts.

You will be joining a small, established family-run business with consistent work, established systems, apprentices already in place and the prospect to take on an important long-term role within the company.
