Operating in several countries throughout the world, this prospect as a qualified and experienced Maintenance Supervisor will see you in the Australian operation working at the Isaac Downs Complex, near Moranbah in Queensland.

About the role:

While reporting to the Superintendent:

- Ensure maintenance activities prioritise safety, through effective hazard identification and risk management.

- Provide leadership through coaching, mentoring, and developmental activities to members of the team driving a positive workplace culture.

- Ensure work order feedback and closeouts are completed accurately to improve maintenance efficiencies.

- Provide leadership to the workshop maintenance crews to achieve the maintenance plan.

- Assist the Maintenance Manager & Superintendents in implementing safety plans.

- Track maintenance performance and ensure operational issues are managed and communicated in a timely manner.

To be successful you will have:

- Australian trade qualified with extensive experience in the maintenance of mining plant and equipment – Essential





- Previous experience in supervisory roles (leading hand experience considered but direct supervisory experience preferred)

- Minimum 4 years mining experience in the maintenance of mining plant and equipment

- Standard 11

- Current Australian Drivers Licence

- Current Coal Board Medical, or willingness to complete along with a Pre – employment medical including drug and alcohol test

- First Aid Certificate

- Demonstrate positive safety leadership skills and safety behaviour

- Effective people management and development experience and skills

- Experience working for a medium to large mine operator/contractor

- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills

- Work Planning and scheduling skills
