# Numbers Champ - Volunteer Treasurer

**How will this position help the organisation**:
Your support will help empower Hamilton Hill Community Collective to remain sustainable and respond to changing community needs. Good financial management helps the group make every dollar count, access and manage funding, and plan confidently for the future. Your contribution will support the continuation of its community pantry, emergency food assistance, community gatherings and other initiatives that support local people experiencing hardship.

**Position Overview**:
Hamilton Hill Community Collective is looking for a reliable, organised and kind-hearted volunteer to help look after our finances. We are looking for someone comfortable with numbers, willing to learn and happy to work alongside a friendly community team. A patient, understanding and adaptable approach is significant to us.

**Key Tasks**
Help keep our finances organised by recording income and expenses, keeping receipts and financial records up to date and assisting with simple financial reports. Help manage invoices, reimbursements and payments, maintain financial information in Google Drive and support grant applications and acquittals. Work with the committee to keep everyone informed about our financial position.

**Time required**:

Much of the work can be completed at a time that suits you. We understand volunteers have other commitments and will work with you to find a comfortable and manageable arrangement.
