About the role

You'll work directly with business owners and become an key part of their finance function. You'll understand what's happening in their business, keep their accounts up to date, manage deadlines and help them get better information out of their numbers.

Key responsibilities

- Managing a portfolio of bookkeeping clients

- Bank and credit card reconciliations

- Accounts payable and accounts receivable

- Payroll processing and payroll reconciliations

- Superannuation and STP requirements

- Preparing and lodging BAS and IAS

- Cleaning up and reviewing client files

- Communicating directly with clients

- Following up missing information

- Helping clients get the most out of Xero
