AIM Mining Corporation is an emerging gold development company with big plans underway. We currently operate the Warrawoona Gold Project in the East Pilbara region of Western Australia and are now ramping up operations at our Nullagine Gold Project,
About the role
Based at Nullagine, we are seeking a self-motivated and proactive Environmental Advisor who enjoys a wide scope of responsibilities from monitoring, coordinating surveys and studies, compliance reporting and approvals submissions.
This role is offered on a 8 days on, 6 days off roster flying in and out of Marble Bar.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Conduct monitoring, reporting and compliance to our obligations in accordance with statutory environmental requirements
- Coordinate site environmental monitoring programs and associated data collection, management and analysis
- Assist with the development and review of environmental documentation and the environmental management system
- Assist with the submission of internal and statutory environmental reporting including AER, MRF, NGERs, NPI and other regulatory reporting
- Assist with environmental and heritage surveys and studies to support the project development
About you
You will be an enthusiastic self-starter who can think outside the box, have an eye for detail with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Desired 2+ years’ experience in a mining environmental role
- A tertiary qualification in Environmental Science (or a related discipline)
- Class C Driver’s Licence (Manual Licence), essential
- Knowledge of the Western Australian and Commonwealth environmental regulatory framework
- Experience with QGIS, INX InControl and INX InForm software is highly desirable
