About the role

The role provides hands-on field leadership for Council's roads and civil crews, supervising daily operations, coordinating resources and ensuring safe, efficient delivery of works. The position oversees road maintenance, construction, drainage, plant and contractor activities while maintaining operational records, monitoring quality standards and supporting Council's infrastructure priorities.

About you

- Experienced roads and civil supervisor with practical field leadership skills

- Strong communicator who builds positive relationships with crews, contractors, management and community members

- Demonstrated ability to coordinate employees, plant, equipment and resources to meet operational priorities, project deadlines,



safety requirements and quality standards

- Committed to workplace health and safety, with experience monitoring compliance, conducting inspections, supporting risk controls and promoting safe work practices onsite

- Organised and reliable with sound record keeping, reporting, Microsoft 365 skills and a strong focus on continuous improvement and service delivery
