VERVE Fitness is one of Australia's fastest growing commercial and home gym equipment brands. We're profitable, we run lean, and we're targeting $150M by 2031. That target means one thing for this role: the hiring doesn't stop. Right now we have twelve roles open across sales, marketing, operations, IT and customer service, and today they're being filled by managers squeezing recruitment in around their real jobs.

We need someone who owns the whole thing: writes the ads, sources the people, screens the pipeline, runs the process, closes the offer, and then owns the first 90 days so every hire lands properly. Not a coordinator who chases other people to do the work. Not an agency account manager. The recruiter.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

• Every open role end to end: brief with the hiring manager, write the ad, post it, source directly, screen, schedule, keep candidates warm, and close the offer. Managers see shortlists, not stacks of CVs

• Direct sourcing on LinkedIn and SEEK Talent Search, and living pipelines for the roles we hire again and again, sales especially

• The candidate experience: every applicant gets a response, every interview gets feedback, and nobody signed goes quiet before day one

• The first 90 days: contracts, day-one setup, a written onboarding plan for every starter set up in our system, and probation check-ins at 30, 60 and 90 days

THE STACK YOU INHERIT





This is not a spreadsheet-and-prayers job. We built our own careers site and applicant tracking system: source attribution on every application, response-time alarms so nobody sits unanswered, structured interview scorecards, and AI that drafts ads and screening briefs alongside you. The CEO builds with AI daily and the recruitment tooling gets better every month. You'll run one of the more advanced small-company hiring setups in the country, and you'll help shape where it goes next.

HOW YOU'LL BE MEASURED

We'd rather tell you now than surprise you in month three:

• Time to fill: median under 35 days from role brief to signed offer

• Direct-fill rate: 90%+ of hires made without an agency

• Offer acceptance above 80%

• Zero no-shows between signature and day one

• Every starter with a written first-90-days plan before they walk in

• Hires still here and performing at six months

WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT

Policy, employee relations, payroll, remuneration and ongoing learning stay with our Head of HR. You own hiring and the first 90 days. That boundary is deliberate, and it means you spend your time recruiting rather than being pulled into everything else.
