About the role

Reporting to the Profit Centre Manager, you'll be responsible for growing your own territory: winning new business, building a sales pipeline, and developing long-term relationships with customers across the trade, construction, and industrial sectors. You'll be mentored by an experienced team while you learn the fastener and hardware trade from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

- Getting out on the road and actively marketing our products and services to customers

- Identifying current business opportunities and building a short, medium, and long-term sales pipeline

- Building solid relationships with new and existing clients, and providing ongoing support

- Understanding customer needs and offering the right solutions — including handling enquiries and follow-ups

- Creating and maintaining a database of prospective clients





- Making outbound calls to potential customers and working through the sales process to close

- Collaborating with your manager on sales goals, planning, and forecasting

- Liaising across our internal team to ensure customers get an exceptional experience

- Following Workplace Health & Safety requirements and company policies

About you

- A recent graduate (or soon-to-graduate) with a degree in Commerce, Marketing, or Business

- A confident, persuasive communicator who's comfortable picking up the phone or meeting a client face-to-face

- Goal-oriented, energetic, and genuinely enjoy connecting with people

- Able to work autonomously as well as part of a close-knit team

- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); CRM experience is a bonus but not essential

- Holding a current driver's licence — you'll be out visiting clients regularly
