Vacant position

- We are looking for passionate and motivated Centre Chef / Cook and Kitchen Assistant to come and join our centre to provide healthy and nutritious meals to the children in our care.

Responsibilities:

- Plan and prepare healthy,



balanced meals and snacks for children, adhering to dietary guidelines and any specific dietary requirements or allergies.

- Ensure health and safety guidelines are adhered to in the kitchen, including food preparation and servicing areas.

- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, ensuring that general day to day procedures are followed.

- Manage inventory, order food supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients.

- Collaborate with the centre director and staff to develop menus that meet the nutritional needs of children.

- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and Centre's policies.

What you will bring:

- Experience as a cook, preferably in a childcare or school setting.

- Knowledge of child nutrition and dietary needs.

- Strong organization and time management skills.

- Valid Working with Children Check and Police Check (can be easily done online).

- Food Safety Supervisor certificate.
