We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Import Coordinator within our Perth Team. This position will be responsible for coordinating the Import function from receipt of an order through to delivery with a focus on Air and Domestic, FCL, LCL and Breakbulk shipments.

The fundamental responsibilities of this role include:

- Liaising with customers and overseas offices to coordinate import enquiries and shipments

- Registering import shipments in Cargowise (CW1) and coordinating import clearance formalities with PFS Customs Brokers

- Coordinating AQIS inspections and formalities

- Proactively monitoring progress of customs and quarantine clearance via ICS and communicating the outcome to the customer

- Coordinating deliveries of customs released freight to destination and de-hire containers to empty depots

- Preparing & issuing RFQ’s to internal & external customers





- Completing billing process; timely and accurately coding of supplier’s invoices and preparing files for handover to PFS Accounts as per contracted rate agreements

- Delivering a high level of customer service

- Participating in general office tasks as required

The successful candidate will have:

- Minimum 2 – 3 years’ experience in a similar position

- Knowledge of customs and freight forwarding terminology

- Current exposure to & use of CW1

- Strong problem-solving skills

- High level customer service skills

- High attention to detail and strong planning and organisation skills

- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy work environment

- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment

- Excellent working knowledge of Customs ICS and Cargowise (CW1) computer systems

- Current unrestricted drivers licence
