Join our Facilities Maintenance team and play a key role in maintaining and improving community buildings, infrastructure, and assets.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain, repair and improve City buildings, facilities and assets.
- Carry out building maintenance repairs and renewals across a range of buildings including, toilet blocks, multi-story office building, and public facilities.
- Coordinate contractors and assist with the delivery of small maintenance projects.
- Support preventative maintenance programs to ensure facilities remain secure, functional and well-presented.
- Manage work orders and respond to maintenance requests across the organisation.
No day is ever the same, every day will present a new problem to solve. Maintaining, Moving, Replacing. Keeping our growing city operating on a daily basis.
Please note: This role does not undertake electrical or potable plumbing works. These works are contracted out as required.
What You’ll Bring
- Trade qualification in Carpentry (or relevant trade) desirable
- Strong practical skills across general building maintenance, repairs, and equipment use
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment
- Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise and manage competing tasks
- Good computer skills and experience using work order or asset management systems
- Current White Card and C-Class Driver’s Licence (additional tickets like EWP, Forklift, Working at Heights are desirable)
