The Seasonal Brewing Co - About Us

We're an established brew pub with 5-12 core beers, plus seasonal releases and guests over 26 taps. We have a fantastic kitchen pumping out 1000+ upscale pub classic meals a week and a 250–500 capacity that hosts live music, trivia, and a beer garden. We're family-friendly by day and looking to build a strong scene for the 18–28 crowd after 7pm. We need an experienced Venue Manager to help lead the invigoration while keeping the day-to-day running like clockwork.

Key responsibilities

- Lead larger teams (30+) and run a tight, profitable operation

- Manage financial reporting, revenue, wage costs, COGS, and P&L; input for the owner

- Partner with the Head Brewer on core range management and seasonal releases

- Run daily operations across the bar, kitchen floor, and events spaces, including the seasonal beer garden

- Plan seasonal menus with the Head Chef, keeping the pub-classics style fresh each quarter

- Book and manage live music acts directly, plus run regular trivia and karaoke nights

- Liaise with sound engineers and AV contractors for gig setup and equipment upkeep

- Plan and run functions and private events end-to-end

- Stay hands-on with venue maintenance — repairs, contractor coordination, and safety checks

- Drive social media (in-house, with some agency support) to help build the venue's evening crowd

About you





- 5+ years' senior experience managing a large multi-faceted hospitality venue

- Track record of leading larger teams (30+) and running a tight, profitable operation

- Confidence with financial reporting, revenue, wage costs, COGS, and P&L; input

- Keep on top of licensing and compliance — liquor licence, noise permits, capacity limits

- Manage stock and supplier relationships across drinks, food, and consumables

- Ensure health & safety/WHS compliance, incident reporting, and risk management

- Run POS, cash handling, and rostering systems (e.g. Square/Deputy or similar)

- Handle customer complaints and manage the venue's online reputation

- Own recruitment and onboarding — make the final call on new hires

- Act as duty manager for opening/closing, security, and incident response
