About the role

Join a premium appliance and design destination as a Designer Appliances Sales Consultant at the Highlands Selection Centre in Mittagong. You will work with leading names in designer and premium appliances, helping customers create beautiful, functional kitchens and homes. We are open to candidates at any stage of their sales career, whether you have been in the industry for years or are starting out in appliance sales with an interest in wet appliances such as cookers, ovens and dishwashers. The most important thing is that you have a genuine interest in people, products and providing an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

- Help customers select appliances that suit their design, lifestyle, performance and budget requirements
- Develop strong product knowledge across premium appliance brands, particularly cookers, ovens, dishwashers and other wet appliances
- Manage customers from initial enquiry through to order, delivery coordination and follow-up
- Build strong and lasting relationships with customers
- Work collaboratively with the wider sales team to achieve shared sales targets
- Develop relationships with builders, kitchen designers, cabinet makers,



architects, interior designers and developers
- Identify referral and project opportunities through local industry relationships
- Support showroom events, product demonstrations, promotions and social media initiatives
- Maintain a high standard of showroom presentation and product merchandising
- Keep up to date with new products, technologies and industry trends

About you

- Customer-focused and genuinely enjoy helping people make decisions
- Confident, personable and comfortable building relationships
- Interested in premium appliances, kitchens, interiors and design
- A good communicator who can listen and understand what a customer really needs
- Motivated and organised while able to manage multiple customer opportunities
- Qualified, reliable and willing to learn
