Role: Industrial Rescue Technician

As an Industrial Rescue Technician, you’ll be a vital member of our Emergency Response Team, providing safe and effective emergency response capabilities on client sites.

Key Responsibilities:

- Respond to alarms and emergency incidents

- Perform confined space and vertical rescues

- Firefighting and emergency response

- Participate in regular training and scenario rehearsals

- Promote safety as a core value in all activities

- Adhere to HRMS Quality, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems

- Foster open communication between contractors, clients, and the HRMS team

This is a casual position with a variety of hours available.





Shifts can provide a full time income or be scheduled around your existing commitments—perfect if you have a primary job or work on a roster.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking applicants who are experienced and hold the relevant qualifications for this role. If you meet the essential requirements below and have a robust background in industrial rescue or emergency response, we encourage you to apply.

Essential:

- White Card

- Undertake Confined Space Rescue

- Undertake Vertical Rescue

- National Police Clearance & International Police Clearance if non-Australian Citizen

- Operate open circuit breathing apparatus

Highly Desirable:

- Issue Work Permits

- Provide First Aid & CPR

- Enter and work in Confined Space

- Work Safely at Heights

- Gas Test Atmospheres

Experience & Skills

- Experience in emergency services, prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
