Yard Hand / Forklift Operator – Immediate Start

Wedgefield, Port Hedland | 40+ hours per week | Monday to Friday

Are you handy with tools, confident on a forklift and not afraid to get your hands dirty? Complete Portables is looking for a reliable and motivated Yard Hand/Forklift Operator to join our Wedgefield team.

This is a varied, hands-on role—so if you enjoy staying busy and prefer being outdoors rather than sitting behind a desk, this could be the job for you!

What You’ll Be Doing

- Loading and unloading trucks using a 16 Tonne forklift.

- Moving portable buildings and equipment around the yard.

- Cleaning and preparing portable buildings.

- Completing basic maintenance and minor handyman repairs.

- Using basic power tools.

- Keeping the yard clean, organised and safe.

What You’ll Need

- Current LF Forklift Licence.

- Current White Card.

- Previous forklift operating experience.

- Basic power-tool and handyman skills.





- A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in.

- Reliability, punctuality and the ability to use your initiative.

- Physical fitness and the ability to complete manual duties.

- Good attention to detail.

- Availability to work Monday to Friday for 40+ hours per week.

- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, which may include drug and alcohol testing.

Even Better If You Have

- Experience operating a 16-tonne forklift—highly advantageous.

- An HR Driver’s Licence.

- Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, maintenance or a similar yard workplace.
