We’re seeking an experienced Integration Specialist to deliver secure, scalable enterprise integration solutions.

Our client is seeking an experienced Integration Specialist to support major transformation and data integration initiatives. This hybrid business analysis + hands‑on integration engineering role spans the full delivery lifecycle — from discovery and requirements analysis through to API specification, ETL/ELT development, testing, deployment and operational support.
You’ll work closely with business analysts, architects and integration engineers to translate business needs into secure, reusable and reliable integration solutions aligned with our client’s patterns, standards and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead discovery activities to understand business objectives, processes, data flows and integration constraints
- Analyse current/future‑state systems and interfaces to identify simplification and automation opportunities
- Translate business needs into clear API user stories, acceptance criteria, interface specifications and source‑to‑target mappings
- Design, develop, test and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines across on‑prem, cloud and hybrid environments
- Apply SQL, integration tooling and schedulers to implement transformations, orchestration, error handling, logging and monitoring
- Document API behaviours, payloads, validation rules, security requirements, dependencies and versioning
- Support backlog refinement, estimation,



defect resolution and integration testing
- Produce runbooks, support procedures, data lineage artefacts and operational handover materials
- Provide explicit, practical integration advice to technical and non‑technical stakeholders

Mandatory Skills & Experience

- Strong BA capability across discovery, elicitation, user stories, acceptance criteria and solution validation
- Demonstrated experience documenting API requirements and developer‑ready interface specifications
- Hands‑on ETL/ELT development in complex enterprise environments
- Advanced SQL, data profiling, transformation and optimisation
- Experience producing source‑to‑target mappings, interface specs, data models and lineage artefacts
- Knowledge of integration patterns, APIs, file‑based interfaces, data contracts, batch processing and error handling
- Strong problem‑solving and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience supporting SIT, regression and UAT
- Strong documentation and knowledge‑transfer practices
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience

Preferred Experience

- Oracle PL/SQL, scheduling and data warehousing
- Talend or similar enterprise ETL platforms
- MuleSoft, REST, SOAP, JSON, XML
- Salesforce, TechnologyOne, Java or .NET environments
- Dimensional modelling, data governance and data quality
- DevOps tools (Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, CI/CD)
- Relevant certifications in BA, integration, cloud or agile delivery.
