Caldwell Electrical Services is seeking a qualified Electrician to join our team on a full time basis. As an Electrician, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs to our diverse client base. What you'll be doing
- Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial and industrial settings
- Reading and interpreting electrical plans, blueprints and technical drawings
- Testing electrical systems and components to ensure they meet safety standards and regulations
- Troubleshooting electrical faults and diagnosing problems efficiently
- Performing routine maintenance on electrical installations and systems
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant electrical codes, standards and safety regulations
- Communicating effectively with clients regarding project requirements and timelines
- Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Operating electrical tools and equipment safely and responsibly
- Collaborating with other team members and trades professionals on site
What we're looking for
- A current, valid electrical licence appropriate to the work being undertaken
- Proven experience working as a qualified Electrician in the trades industry
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment and installation practices
- Competency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and technical documentation
- A solid understanding of electrical safety standards, codes and regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve electrical faults
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- A valid driver's licence and Construction Industry White card
- A commitment to workplace health and safety
- Willingness to undertake ongoing professional development and training
