We’re now looking for passionate Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our dedicated team at The Haven in Wagga Wagga. This is more than just a job in aged care. It’s an chance to build meaningful relationships, bring joy to people’s everyday lives and make a genuine difference to the wellbeing of our residents.

We offer a variety of morning, afternoon and night shifts across the week, giving you flexibility while being part of a supportive and caring team.

Responsibilities

As a valued member of our team, you’ll help create a safe, welcoming and home-like environment while supporting our residents to live with dignity and independence. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting residents with personal care, including showering and dressingSupporting day-to-day activities such as meals, social activities and daily routinesWorking closely with our clinical team to ensure care plans are followedMaintaining accurate documentation and working collaboratively to support residents’ health and wellbeingBuilding positive relationships with residents, families and the wider communityProviding compassionate, high-quality care that makes a real difference

About

We’re looking for people who genuinely care about others and take pride in making a difference. To be successful in this role, you’ll have:





A Certificate III in Aged Care (or equivalent)Preference will be given to PCAs who have completed medication-competency training as part of their Certificate III or Certificate IV studiesA kind heart and genuine passion for providing exceptional care to older peopleConfidence interacting with people from a wide variety of backgroundsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsA reliable, positive and collaborative approach to teamworkAn understanding of workplace health and safetyA willingness to obtain a Police Check and NDIS clearance
