About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Senior Technology Lead to join our Gold Coast team and play a key role in shaping Tradezone's national technology modernisation program.

This is a hands-on role focused on designing and delivering modern technology solutions, rather than simply maintaining existing systems. You'll work closely with the Technology Manager and our upcoming internal technology team to help shape our modern workplace platform, identity and device management, and how technology is delivered and supported across our national network.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and deliver modern workplace, identity and endpoint management solutions across our national network

- Lead technical delivery of modernisation projects from design through to implementation and handover

- Define and maintain Tradezone's standard operating environment across our sites

- Review and challenge technical designs, proposals and solutions from external technology partners

- Work with the Technology Manager and internal technology team to shape the modernisation roadmap

- Provide technical guidance and support to the wider technology team and business

- Translate business outcomes into practical, scalable technology solutions

- About You

We're looking for a hands-on technology leader who enjoys solving complex problems and turning ideas into practical solutions.

You'll bring:





- Current hands-on experience designing and delivering cloud infrastructure services across Microsoft Azure and/or AWS

- Significant experience leading technology delivery across infrastructure, workplace, service management or a combination

- Strong endpoint management and standard operating environment experience

- Architecture knowledge across identity, security, networking and integration

- The ability to confidently assess and challenge solutions proposed by external technology partners

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes

- A proactive, practical approach with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively

Highly regarded:

- Experience with modern data platforms including Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Azure Data Lake or equivalent.

- ITIL or other service management experience

- Experience assessing and modernising legacy application environments

- Experience mentoring and developing junior technical team members
