About the role
As a key member of the clinical team, you will work closely with GPs, allied health professionals, and administrative staff to provide comprehensive nursing services to a diverse patient population. This casual position offers approximately 25-30 hours per week, with flexibility required to assist with additional shifts covering staff sick leave and annual leave as needed.
Key responsibilities
- Chronic Disease Management
- Health Assessments
- Immunisations (all age groups)
- Wound Care and Dressings
- ECGs and Holter Monitor Fitting
- Care Coordination and Recall Systems
- Assisting with Procedures
- Infection Control and Cold Chain Management
- Patient Education and Health Promotion
- Triage and Clinical Assessments
About you
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 2 years' nursing experience
- CPR Certificate
- Previous General Practice experience preferred
- Current immunisation certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Proficient computer skills and experience with clinical software systems
