About the role

UPPERCUTS is seeking a talented Hairdresser to join our team in Katoomba NSW. This is a casual position that offers flexibility whilst allowing you to showcase your creativity and technical expertise in a dynamic salon environment. Whether you're looking to build your portfolio, maintain a adaptable work schedule, or grow your skills in hair and beauty services, this role provides the perfect opportunity to work with a diverse clientele in our thriving Katoomba salon.

What you'll be doing

1. Delivering a quality hair cuts catering to Men, women, and children

2. Consulting with clients to understand their hair goals and recommending appropriate styles

3. Maintaining the highest standards of salon hygiene and sterilisation procedures

4. Providing professional advice on hair care, maintenance and product recommendations

5. Creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere for all clients

6. Keeping up to date with current trends and cutting techniques

7. Assisting with salon duties including cleaning, stock management and appointment scheduling as required

What we're looking for

- A recognised hairdressing qualification

- Solid technical skills in cutting, both men and women's styles

- Excellent communication and customer service abilities

- A professional approach to hygiene and salon standards

- The ability to work flexibly within a casual arrangement

- A genuine passion for hair and beauty services





- Experience working in a salon environment is preferred

- Current knowledge of industry trends and best practices
