Finance Officer / Accounts Administrator

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented and proactive Finance Officer / Accounts Administrator to join our growing business and support our day-to-day financial and administrative operations.

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, takes pride in accuracy and is confident managing their workload independently, while being part of a supportive and collaborative team.

The role is primarily focused on transactional bookkeeping and accounts administration, while also providing financial support to multiple sites, clinicians and stakeholders.

What you'll be doing

- Processing accounts receivable invoices accurately and efficiently

- Uploading invoices and supporting documentation to relevant portals

- Verifying EAP, Insurance and NDIS service agreements, session approvals and billing eligibility

- Managing debtor follow-ups and supporting debt collection activities

- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records across multiple sites

- Liaising with sites, clinicians and all stakeholders regarding billing and financial matters

- Assisting with general accounting and finance administration as required

- Ensuring financial records are maintained accurately and in a timely manner

- Supporting a busy team with a range of day-to-day finance and administrative tasks

What we're looking for

We're seeking someone who is organised, commercially aware and genuinely enjoys getting the details right.

You will ideally have:

- Experience in accounts administration, bookkeeping,



finance or a similar role

- A sound understanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping principles

- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

- Confidence working with numbers and financial information

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

- Experience using an ERP/accounting software package

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- The ability to work autonomously, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to take on wide-ranging responsibilities

- The ability to work effectively in a busy, deadline-driven environment

- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills and analytical thinking

- Maintain strict data privacy

Essential requirements

- MUST have Australian working rights

- Police Clearance obtained within the past 2 months, or ability to obtain one prior to commencement

- Relevant experience in finance, accounts administration or bookkeeping

- ERP/accounting package experience

- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
