We are looking for a multi skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team based in Yass.
If you are the type of person who can hear a machine making the wrong noise, grab your tools and work out what’s going on, we want to hear from you.
This is a genuinely varied maintenance role where your mechanical, electrical and technical skills will be put to work every day.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll help keep our operation running safely and reliably by:
- Performing preventative and breakdown maintenance
- Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults
- Diagnosing problems and finding practical solutions
- Repairing,
servicing and maintaining plant and equipment
- Supporting improvements that reduce downtime and improve reliability
- Working closely with the operations team to keep things moving
What we’re looking for
You’ll ideally come from a trade background, such as:
- Electrical
- Boilermaking / Fabrication
- Light or Heavy Vehicle Mechanics
- Fitting & Machining
- Engineering Maintenance
- Or another relevant trade
You don’t need to fit neatly into one box.
We’re particularly interested in people with broad maintenance experience who are confident tackling different types of equipment and faults.
Experience in quarrying, manufacturing, FMCG, production, industrial or similar environments will be highly regarded.
Most importantly, you’ll be:
- Hands-on and mechanically minded
- A confident fault finder and problem solver
- Comfortable working across mechanical and electrical tasks
- Safety focused
- Reliable, practical and willing to get stuck in
- Someone who takes pride in keeping equipment running
