Position: Full-Time Remedial Massage Therapist
Reports to: Clinic Manager
Location: Life Wellness Massage Therapy – Unit 3 / 73 Hay Street, Subiaco WA
Salary: $80,000 per annum + compulsory superannuation
Hours: Minimum 38 hours per week

Life Wellness Massage Therapy is an established remedial massage clinic in Subiaco, providing professional remedial and musculoskeletal treatments.

Key Requirements

- Diploma of Remedial Massage or equivalent recognised qualification
- Current eligibility and registration as a Health Fund Provider
- Minimum 3 years of relevant remedial massage experience
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, musculoskeletal conditions, and soft tissue dysfunction
- Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills
- Ability to develop individualised treatment plans
- Strong remedial and deep tissue massage skills
- Professional communication and client management skills
- Ability to maintain accurate clinical records
- Ability to work independently and as part of a professional team
- Reliable, responsible, and committed to high-quality remedial massage care

Main Responsibilities

- Conduct client consultations and assess medical history, symptoms, posture, movement, muscle tension, joint function, and musculoskeletal presentation
- Identify soft tissue dysfunction, muscular imbalances,



and movement restrictions
- Develop and implement individualised remedial treatment plans
- Provide remedial massage and deep tissue treatments using appropriate therapeutic techniques
- Reassess client progress and adjust treatment plans where necessary
- Provide appropriate advice on stretching, posture, movement, self-management, and injury prevention
- Refer clients to other healthcare professionals when appropriate and work within professional scope of practice
- Maintain accurate and confidential treatment records
- Follow hygiene, infection control, and workplace health and safety requirements
- Maintain skilled communication and appropriate boundaries with clients

Employment Conditions

- Permanent full-time employment
- Annual salary of $80,000 plus compulsory superannuation
- Annual leave and personal/carer’s leave in accordance with Australian employment legislation
- Long service leave in accordance with Western Australian legislation
- Employment subject to the employment agreement and applicable legislation
