About the role
Country Kidz Preschool is seeking passionate and dedicated professionals to join our team in multiple positions across our Tatura, Victoria facility. We are recruiting for Educators, an Education Leader and a Kindergarten Teacher to work full-time within our early childhood education and care service. These roles are integral to delivering quality care and education to children, supporting their development and wellbeing whilst creating positive experiences that lay the foundation for lifelong learning. What you'll be doing
As an Educator, you will:
- Provide direct care and education to children in accordance with our curriculum framework and educational philosophy
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning activities that promote cognitive, physical, social and emotional growth
- Build positive relationships with children and families, fostering communication and trust
- Maintain safe, clean and stimulating learning environments that encourage exploration and creativity
- Support children's wellbeing, including health, nutrition, hygiene and behavioural guidance
- Document children's progress and development through observation and assessment
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality care across the service
As an Education Leader, you will:
- Provide educational leadership and mentoring to the educator team
- Lead curriculum planning, implementation and evaluation in line with the Early Years Learning Framework
- Support educators in their professional practice and development
- Liaise with families and communicate children's learning and development outcomes
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Assist in the coordination of programming and special projects within the service
As a Kindergarten Teacher, you will:
- Deliver high-quality Kindergarten programming aligned with state curriculum standards
- Plan and facilitate learning experiences that support school readiness and transition to primary school
- Assess and monitor children's progress towards learning and development outcomes
- Maintain strong partnerships with families and primary school colleagues
- Create an inclusive, engaging learning environment that celebrates diversity
- Manage classroom operations, including administration and record-keeping
What we're looking for
For Educator positions, you will ideally have:
- A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (such as Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent)
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- A Working with Children Check (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, creativity and a genuine passion for working with young children
- Knowledge of child development and early learning frameworks
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's wellbeing
For the Education Leader position, you will ideally have:
- A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience working in early childhood education and care settings
- Demonstrated experience in educational leadership, mentoring and career development
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Victorian Curriculum
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- A Working with Children Check
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to inspire and guide a team towards continuous improvement
For the Kindergarten Teacher position, you will ideally have:
- A recognised teaching qualification (Bachelor of Teaching or equivalent)
- Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) or eligibility to obtain registration
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- A Working with Children Check
- Strong curriculum knowledge and experience teaching in Kindergarten or early primary years
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to inclusive practice and supporting diverse learners
