About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Retail Pharmacy Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our busy community pharmacy.

Working closely with the Pharmacy Manager and leadership team, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service, leading and developing team members, supporting workflow efficiencies, and maintaining high professional and operational standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident pharmacy skilled looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and progressive pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the management of daily pharmacy operations and workflow.

- Lead, motivate, and mentor pharmacy assistants.

- Deliver exceptional patient and customer service.

- Assist with rostering, training, and onboarding of team members.





- Monitor and maintain store presentation, merchandising, and stock management (including data entry).

- Support the achievement of pharmacy and retail performance goals.

- Ensure compliance with pharmacy procedures, policies, and professional standards.

- Promote Wholelife Pharmacy services, health programs, and product ranges.

- Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- Previous experience in community pharmacy, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.

- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and dispensary workflow.

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

- The ability to lead by example and inspire others.

- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

- A genuine passion for healthcare, wellness, and helping people achieve better health outcomes.

- Certificate II, III, or IV in Community Pharmacy.
