The Role

An opportunity has become available for an Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, Social Worker or Speech Pathologist to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

- Provide comprehensive care to consumers with an acute mental health issues
- Monitor and evaluate outcomes of clinical services within the context of a multidisciplinary mental health environment.
- Contribute to the clinical education of students and other less experienced staff in consultation with the support of senior clinical staff.
- Maintain the currency and high quality of practice knowledge, skills and expertise by active participation in career development

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

- Tertiary degree in Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, Social Worker or Speech Pathologist
- AHPRA registration (Occupational Therapist and Psychologist only)
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Driver Licence
- Paid Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary

- Permanent full time




- Base salary ranging from $114,532 - $122,643 per annum
