Our Team
From take-off to landing, Thales offers the most complete range of solutions to provide dynamic Air Traffic Services to support today's growing domestic and international travel requirements. Utilising this knowledge and experience Thales Australia will deliver a harmonised Civil/Military Air Traffic Management System (OneSKY) in Australia to Airservices Australia and Defence.
This will enable a new level of safety and efficiency, while also reducing delays for the travelling public and providing opportunities to improve environmental outcomes. OneSKY will transform Australia’s sky and we are proud to be partners in its delivery.
Your role
As our Engineering Specialist Instructor you will be responsible for the delivery and development of customer training to support the use of CMATS in a testing environment.
- Develop and deliver engaging training programs at our in-house training facility, including course materials, learning plans, and assessments
- Create and update training resources such as presentations, instructor guides, student materials, and practical exercises
- Support the setup and use of training equipment and simulators to deliver effective, hands-on learning
- Review, test, and improve training materials and assessments to keep content accurate and effective
Your experience
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or similar
- Prior experience delivering in person training
- Experience delivering software engineering training
- Prior experience in configuring software systems
- Experience in trouble shooting and resolving system issues
- Experience in software testing
A Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.

In some cases, individuals who hold a current clearance from a foreign government may be eligible to have this clearance recognised by the Australian Government and be eligible for this role.
