About the role

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Telecommunications Field Technician to join our growing team in Tasmania.

Whether you are looking to start your telecommunications career or building on existing field experience, this role offers the opportunity to work on telecommunications projects while gaining valuable hands-on experience and industry recognised skills.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will assist with the installation, maintenance, and testing of telecommunications infrastructure across residential and commercial environments.

Key responsibilities

- Residential and commercial telecommunications cabling.

- Scoping and site assessment activities.

- Cable hauling, splicing, and testing.

- Minor civil works and cable relocation.

- Maintaining high standards of safety and quality.





- Delivering excellent customer service on site.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.

- Excellent customer service skills.

- A willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.

- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- A current Australian Drivers Licence.

- NBN Enable Card (or willingness to obtain)

- White Card (or willingness to obtain)
