At National Home Nurse, we’re taking healthcare beyond brick and mortar, supporting patients to receive hospital-level care in the comfort of their own homes. We’re looking for experienced Registered Nurses to join our team, working alongside major public and private hospitals to support patients transitioning home through early discharge programs.

You’ll manage your own caseload across a defined geographical area, providing clinical care in patients’ homes while building genuine relationships and taking ownership of your practice.

Your day could include:

- Complex wound care and clinical assessments
- IV infusions, PICC and PORT management
- Venepuncture and IV cannulation
- Urinary catheterisation and respiratory assessment
- Care planning and ongoing patient monitoring

You’ll work predominantly day shifts, with school-hour flexibility where operationally possible - giving you greater control to fit meaningful work around your life.

About you
You’re a caring,



compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse who enjoys working autonomously and taking ownership of your clinical practice.
You’ll have:

- Current AHPRA registration
- Minimum 3 years’ recent acute hospital experience
- Robust IV cannulation and venepuncture skills
- A broad and consolidated clinical skill set
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills
- Current driver’s licence and reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle
- Willingness to obtain a National Police Clearance

Supported from day one
Moving from hospital to community nursing is a big step, so we’ll support you through it.
You’ll receive a comprehensive orientation and induction program covering our clinical systems, processes and expectations, followed by ongoing support from an experienced team.
Many of our team members come from clinical backgrounds themselves, so they understand the realities of nursing in patients’ homes and what it takes to feel confident working autonomously.
