About the role

As Retail Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day performance and operations of our stores, working closely with store teams to achieve sales targets, maintain high visual merchandising standards and deliver an outstanding customer experience. The role will have a strong focus on Bonnyrigg, while also supporting and overseeing the Minto and Stanhope Gardens locations.

Key responsibilities

- Lead, motivate and develop retail staff across all stores

- Take primary responsibility for the performance of the busy Bonnyrigg store

- Drive sales, profitability and achievement of monthly and annual targets

- Monitor store KPIs, sales performance and staff productivity

- Develop strategies to increase sales and improve store performance

- Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure customers receive a positive shopping experience

- Coach staff in selling techniques, product knowledge, customer service and conversion

- Manage staff rosters, attendance, leave and day-to-day staffing requirements

- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management

- Maintain high standards of presentation, visual merchandising and store cleanliness

About you

- Proven experience as a Retail Manager,



Store Manager or Senior Retail Supervisor

- Experience managing a busy, high-volume retail setting

- Strong sales and customer service skills

- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and motivate a team

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of retail KPIs

- Good organisational and time-management skills

- Experience with rostering, stock management and retail operations

- A positive, energetic and hands-on approach

- Flexibility to work across three store locations when required

Benefits

- $75,000 – $85,000 + Superannuation, depending on experience
