The Company

An opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing organisation at its Minto site. The business is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join its maintenance team on a permanent 12-hour night shift roster.

The Role

Working across a quick-paced manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing production equipment to maximise plant reliability and minimise downtime.

Key responsibilities include:

- Respond to electrical and mechanical breakdowns across production equipment

- Fault-find and repair PLC-controlled machinery, motors, drives, VFDs, sensors and control systems

- Maintain and repair conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, pneumatics, hydraulics and other mechanical equipment

- Complete preventative and reactive maintenance activities

- Identify recurring equipment issues and implement corrective actions

- Support machinery upgrades, installations and reliability improvement projects

- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation





- Ensure all work is completed in line with site safety and LOTO procedures

Your Background

- A-grade Electrical License

- Strong mechanical fault-finding capability is essential for non-dual trade candidates

- Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, food processing, packaging or a similar industrial environment

- Strong electrical and mechanical breakdown experience

- Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation

- Pneumatic and hydraulic experience highly regarded

- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and manage breakdowns during night shift operations
