We offer support any day and time suitable to the individual's needs. We service the Perth area and most of the Peel region.

By Your Side Supports are looking for recent Casual Superstar Support Workers. 1 Female with Personal Care experience and manual handling certificate up to 6 hours per week, plus various cover shifts across Perth.

Here’s what a day in the life of a support worker might look like with By Your Side Supports:

- Supporting our customers to meet their personal goals, either in the workplace, community, or home

- Supporting our customers with daily activities in the community, such as shopping or preparing food

- Offering support in performing daily tasks, such as personal care, showering, or dressing

- Assist with attending appointments.

- Encouraging and uplifting the participants to engage with their peers and community.

- Some house cleaning tasks

The ideal candidate will have:

- Current police clearance





- Current First Aid Certificate

- Working With Children’s Cards or the ability to obtain one.

- NDIS Modules

- Infection Control and Hand Hygiene Certificates

- NDIS Workers Screening

- Right to work in Australia Documentation

- Medication Training

- Availability and reliability to work the required scheduled roster, with the ability to be flexible.

- Have reliable transport with comprehensive insurance and a valid driver's license.

- Experience working with neurodiverse and CALD participants.

- Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.

- Good communication skills and the ability to provide shift notes.

- Have a passion for providing service and assistance to support our participants to live their best lives.

- Previous experience or willingness to learn.

- Willingness to assist with daily tasks, such as personal care, showering, toileting, and meal preparation.

- Lived experience.

- A willingness to learn and complete online modules relevant to the industry.
