Ready for a well-paid senior locum that offers genuine remote experience? We're seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join NT Health's Alcohol and Other Drugs Services.

✈️ Up to $1,300 return travel allowance

The Opportunity
Working within a multidisciplinary team, you'll provide specialist mental health and Alcohol & Other Drugs (AOD) services across Tennant Creek and surrounding remote communities in the Barkly Region. The position combines senior clinical practice with leadership, supervision and service development

You may also have the opportunity to travel to remote communities via 4WD or light aircraft, making this a fantastic contract for someone wanting to experience remote NT practice.

What We're Looking For

- Bachelors/Masters of Social Work with AASW membership eligibility
- Extensive post-graduate Social Work experience at a senior level- minimum 4 years experience




- Mental Health and/or Alcohol & Other Drugs experience
- Experience managing complex clinical workloads
- Strong leadership, supervision and mentoring capability
- Experience working effectively with Aboriginal and culturally diverse communities
- Confidence working within a multidisciplinary workplace
- Manual driver's licence and willingness to travel to remote communities

The P3 position specifically requires significant clinical supervision experience, high-level leadership skills and the ability to independently manage a complex caseload.
