Job Description
Oaks Port Douglas Resort are looking for a Full-Time Front Office Supervisor who brings proven front office experience, leadership qualities, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences to join the team.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Lead and support the team in delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring a warm welcome for all guests.
- Serve as a role model, sharing your expertise and continuously motivating the team to achieve high standards of service.
- Oversee the completion of daily tasks, ensuring they are executed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Manage guest arrivals and departures efficiently, ensuring a seamless check-in/check-out experience.
- Address and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally, maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction.
Shift Details (subject to change):
- Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
- Shift times scheduled within 7:00am to 11:00pm
- Immediate start available
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team; prior supervisory experience is highly regarded.
- Extensive background in the hospitality industry, ideally within a hotel or resort setting, with a thorough understanding of guest service standards and operations.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to maintain a consistently positive and professional demeanour, even in high-pressure situations.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and ensure timely completion of duties.
- Impeccable professional presentation, reflecting the high standards of the organisation.
- Flexibility to work weekends and adjust to varying schedules, as required by the operational needs of the business.
Additional Information
To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Previous experience as a waitstaff, bartender, or all-rounder in a hospitality environment.
- A current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification.
- A warm and approachable demeanour with a positive attitude.
- Proven experience delivering high-quality customer service.
- Professional presentation and exceptional communication skills.
- Reliability, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
