About the role:

This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills and gain hands-on experience. Your duties will include but not be limited to:

- Repair & maintain electrical infrastructure
- Overhead, underground & plant power supply
- Repair & maintain electrical control, wiring & lighting systems
- Read technical drawings & blueprints
- Perform electrical maintenance
- Inspect transformers, & circuit breakers and other electrical components
- Assisting tradesmen
- Use of hand and power tools

What we're looking for - Skills & Experience

- Basic understanding of electrotechnology and demonstrate an interest in this field
- Strong attention to detail
- Electrical & Mechanical aptitude as well as high mathematics aptitude
- Strong communication skills and work well within a team
- Superior safety awareness
- Long term career goals and commitment to complete the apprenticeship
- Reliable on the job, high initiative, and adaptability
- Driver's licence and own transport (preferred)
- Certificate II in Electrotechnology (preferred)
- Hold a white card
