Description

- Lead preparation and delivery of the Annual Report.
- Manage the external audit process and key stakeholder relationships.
- Oversee monthly management and board reporting.
- Provide leadership to a small finance team across payroll, accounts payable and financial accounting.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis activities.
- Ensure solid financial controls and reporting accuracy.
- Partner closely with the CFO on key business initiatives.

Profile

A successful Financial Controller should have:

- CA/CPA qualification or equivalent.




- Proven Financial Controller experience within the mining sector (critical)
- Strong technical accounting, financial reporting and internal controls expertise.
- Demonstrated experience managing year-end audits and statutory reporting requirements.
- Advanced Excel skills with experience working with complex reporting and forecasting models.
- Previous experience overseeing payroll functions, including end-to-end payroll processes and compliance obligations.
- The ability to quickly understand existing processes and provide continuity during a period of transition.
- Exposure to Pronto ERP will be highly regarded.
