This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career Civil Designer or Graduate Engineer looking to grow their expertise in civil design and land development within a supportive and collaborative team environment.

About the Role

Reporting to the Design Team Lead - Townsville, you will be part of a dynamic design team delivering land development projects from concept through to detailed documentation.

In this role, you will:

- Assist in the design and documentation of residential subdivisions and civil infrastructure projects

- Prepare designs for roads, earthworks, stormwater, water and sewer networks

- Contribute to project deliverables and design documentation

- Work closely with Senior Designers and Engineers to develop practical and compliant solutions

- Support authority approvals and submission processes where required

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project outcomes

- Continue developing your technical and professional capabilities through mentoring and on-the-job learning

This role offers a balance of guidance and autonomy, allowing you to take ownership of your work while gaining support from experienced professionals.

About You

We're looking for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys problem-solving,



and wants to build a long-term career in civil design and land development.

Essential Requirements

- Approximately 1+ years' experience in civil design, or close to completing a Civil Engineering degree

- Exposure to land development projects in Queensland

- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and 12d Model

- Robust attention to detail and a commitment to quality outcomes

Desirable Skills

- Experience preparing designs or documentation for authority submissions

- Understanding of local government development requirements

- Ability to collaborate effectively within project and design teams
