We're searching for an enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to join our team.

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join Studio 64 Early Learning and Kindergarten. This is a full-time Early Childhood Teacher position with additional responsibilities as a Room Leader. In this pivotal leadership role, you will support the service by driving educational excellence, mentoring and coaching educators, and ensuring our curriculum reflects best practice.

You will lead the educational program, plan and deliver engaging learning experiences, assess children’s development, mentor educators and support continuous improvement across the service.

Working closely with the Centre Manager, you will ensure curriculum and teaching practices reflect the EYLF, National Quality Framework and children’s individual interests, strengths and developmental needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, implement and evaluate high-quality, play-based educational programs.

- Observe and assess children’s learning and use this to guide future planning.

- Lead an engaging, inclusive and developmentally appropriate room workplace.

- Support children’s language,



literacy, numeracy, social, emotional and physical development.

- Discuss children’s learning and progress with families.

- Lead curriculum development and reflective practice across the service.

- Mentor educators in planning, documentation, assessment and teaching practices.

- Contribute to the Quality Improvement Plan and regulatory compliance.

- Build strong relationships with children, families, educators and the community.

- Model best practice in child protection, inclusion, health and safety.

Essential Requirements

- An ACECQA-approved early childhood teaching qualification, or a qualification assessed by ACECQA as equivalent.

- Eligibility to be recognised and employed as an Early Childhood Teacher under the Education and Care Services National Regulations.

- Current valid Working with Children Check.

- Current approved first aid, anaphylaxis management and emergency asthma management qualifications, or willingness to obtain them before commencing.

- Demonstrated experience designing, implementing and evaluating early childhood educational programs.

- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standard and National Quality Framework.

- Demonstrated ability to observe and assess children’s learning and development and use this information to inform curriculum planning.

- Strong written, verbal, leadership and family communication skills.

- Experience mentoring educators and leading educational practice is highly desirable.
