Dorset Rehabilitation Centre is seeking a dedicated Grade 2 Occupational Therapist to join our highly regarded rehabilitation team on a full-time maternity leave contract.
As a Grade 2 Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality rehabilitation services to inpatients with a wide range of clinical presentations. You will work alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team to support patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals and maximising their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy assessment and intervention across a diverse inpatient rehabilitation caseload.
- Apply a client-centred, goal-oriented approach to maximise patients' functional outcomes and occupational performance.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members to provide coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Participate in service development, quality improvement initiatives and departmental projects.
- Contribute to professional development activities and clinical education programs.
- Provide supervision, support and mentorship to junior staff and occupational therapy students.

Essential Criteria:

- A Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent qualification).
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated clinical experience in rehabilitation assessment and intervention.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Highly developed organisational and time management skills.
- A current driver's licence.
