MCS Civil is a privately owned Australian civil contractor with a strong reputation for delivering specialist civil works across the energy, rail, transport and infrastructure sectors.

With a growing pipeline of major infrastructure projects across Regional NSW, Brisbane and South Australia, we are seeking experienced Piling Rig Operators to join our project teams.

This is an opportunity to work on large-scale civil infrastructure projects alongside an experienced delivery team, operating industry-leading 25T–65T IMT and Soilmec piling rigs. Our operators play a critical role in delivering safe, efficient and high-quality piling works across major projects.

Piling Rig Operator Licence and VOC highly regarded. Piling Rig Statement of Attainment (SOA) accepted.

About the Role

You will be responsible for operating piling rigs safely and efficiently on site, contributing to the successful delivery of piling works. This role requires a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and productivity in remote project environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate piling rigs safely and efficiently

- Complete daily pre-starts and equipment inspections

- Set up and position equipment for piling operations

- Execute piling works in accordance with project requirements

- Monitor equipment performance and piling progress

- Work to drawings, specifications and approved methodologies

- Communicate with Supervisors, Engineers and ground crews

- Report equipment faults, hazards and changing site conditions

- Maintain operational and production records

- Assist with piling operations and general site duties as required

About You

We are looking for experienced Piling Rig Operators who take pride in their work, operate safely and work well as part of a project team.

- Proven experience operating piling rigs on civil or infrastructure projects

- Experience with bored, CFA,



driven piling or similar piling operations

- Experience operating IMT, Soilmec or similar piling rigs highly regarded

- Strong understanding of safe piling operations and site procedures

- Strong knowledge of piling operations and equipment

- Ability to identify ground conditions, equipment issues and operational risks

- Ability to read and follow piling plans, specifications and site documentation

- Strong understanding of production requirements and maintaining efficient operations

- Reliable and adaptable, with the ability to work DIDO/FIFO rosters

- Strong team player with the ability to take direction and work collaboratively

- Strong commitment to safety, quality and productivity

Requirements

- Piling Rig Operator Licence and VOC HIGHLY regarded, access to full project portfolio

- Piling Rig Statement of Attainment (SOA) accepted, subject to site approval

- Piling Rig High Risk Work Licence/ticket advantageous

- Current White Card

- Current unrestricted Australian Driver Licence

- Relevant tickets and competencies for operating associated plant and equipment

- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening

- Ability to work DIDO/FIFO rosters across regional project locations

- Strong commitment to safety, quality and site compliance

- Australian working rights

What We Offer

- High earning potential $175,000 – $260,000/yr including penalties and super

- Operate industry-leading Rigs 25T - 65T from IMT and Soilmec, maintained to rigorous standards





- DIDO/FIFO 3:1 working roster, accomodation and full board provided where applicable
