Payroll Officer | South of the River | Immediate Start | Temporary Role

Your new company

An established organisation based in Perth's south of the river is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team on a temporary contract. This opportunity has been created to provide additional support after the implementation of a new payroll system and will suit a payroll professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-volume workplace.

Your new role

- Processing end-to-end fortnightly payroll and payroll adjustments
- Maintaining employee records and payroll data
- Running payroll reports and reconciliations
- Responding to payroll-related queries from employees and stakeholders
- Assisting with payroll compliance and audit requirements
- Supporting payroll system implementation and process improvement initiatives
- Interpreting relevant awards, enterprise agreements and payroll legislation
- Monitoring payroll deadlines and ensuring timely payment runs

What you'll need to succeed

- Proven end-to-end payroll processing experience




- Experience working with DayForce is highly regarded
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation, awards and enterprise agreements
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
