About the role

You will be responsible for operating a range of civil plant and equipment across our projects while maintaining safety, productivity, and quality standards. JRT Group has existing and upcoming civil projects across Rockhampton and Yeppoon and is seeking experienced Civil Operators to join our growing team.

Key responsibilities

- Operating civil machinery across various project scopes

- Loading, spreading, trimming, and shaping materials to specified depths and levels

- Working to construction programs to achieve daily production targets

- Using GPS and machine control systems to meet design tolerances

- Carrying out final trim operations where required

- Performing daily checks, cleaning, lubrication, and preventative maintenance





- Completing daily paperwork including pre-starts, dockets, and records

- Maintaining all Work Health & Safety requirements on site

About you

- Demonstrated civil operating experience within your machine type

- Experience across multiple machine types

- GPS and final trim experience (highly regarded)

- White Card (Construction Induction)

- Current driver's licence and reliable transport

- Robust safety focus and ability to work as part of a team
