Billing OfficerFinance | Billing | Contract Administration | Temporary Full-Time
Are you a detail-driven finance professional who enjoys accurate billing, reporting and contract administration? This temporary full-time opportunity is a great chance to join a collaborative Finance team in a hands-on Billing Officer role, supporting accurate invoicing, reporting and client service across the business.
Reporting to the CFO, you will play an important role in maintaining strong billing processes, reviewing work orders, supporting contract records and preparing financial and operational reports. You will work closely with internal consultants, staff and external clients to ensure billing information is accurate, timely and aligned with company and client requirements
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate billing records, adjustments and reconciliations.
• Upload invoices into client systems and support timely billing processes.
• Check assignment rates to ensure invoicing accuracy.
• Review work orders and assist with contract administration in line with company policies.
• Maintain accurate records in CRIIS and monitor contract terms, renewals and billing requirements.
• Prepare financial, operational and billing reports for consultants, clients and management.
• Support the CFO with rate calculators, reporting and process improvements.
• Liaise professionally with internal teams and external clients while maintaining confidentiality.
About You
• Experience in billing, accounts, finance administration or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting and finance processes.
• High level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Confident reporting and analytical skills.
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and good working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a customer service mindset.
• Ability to manage confidential information professionally.
• Tertiary studies in accounting or approximately five years’ experience in a general accounts environment will be highly regarded.
